Voice of Youth

Youth of Bangalore in association with the Roots in Kashmir, KHS, VHP & J&K Youth organized a Protest against the Human right violations in Kashmir against minorities, Anti National & Pro Pakistan Campaign in Kashmir & the call of separation of Kashmir from India.
This crusade was to wake up the people of the nation. It was a calling to the people of India, if, as, "True Indian" the people have the courage to stand up for what is right & defend India from splitting up. Whether the people have the courage to raise their voice against such radicals & fanatics. It has happened with Hindus in Kashmir, it can happen in any other part of India tomorrow. The movement by the residents of Bangalore came as a great shot in the arm for the fundamentalist who are demanding a separate home land. Residents of Bangalore had done similar protest on 6th.July & 15th. August, which was covered widely.
The Protest had Audio Visual Videos on the terrorism spreading its roots across the nation, with the clippings of the recent Bangalore Blasts too. The protestors had placards in their hands chanting “Jai Bharat” & high pitch slogans appealing to the Government to take the Anti National Elements & Terrorists to task. They also appealed that ban should be put on all the anti national groups like SIMI. Protestors also blasted the J&K Government for manipulating, manhandling, the issue & the people, their voices & feelings. The voices were raised & echoed to defend India from splitting up, & the protestors called for the demand of Kashmiri’s for a separate homeland as a hoax, & a misinformation & tarnishing campaign against India. The act of burning Indian National Flag, shouting of Anti Indian Slogans & Pro Pakistan Slogans was called out as dastardly & cowardly act by the people of Kashmir.
Our protest is against the unjust demand of the separatists forces in India. We vehemently oppose any kind of realignment of Kashmir land on the basis of religion. We Bangalore youth also stands up together against the fear psychosis created by militant group like SIMI. We condemn it SIMI-a bunch of mentally sick fanatics creating Havoc! The local people in Kashmir is being swayed away by local Muslim leaders like Malik, Geelani, Mufti Syed, Abdullah & others. We would not want anymore partition of our motherland on communal lines. Partition of Land is not a solution & out of question totally.
Indian should no more open gates to Afghanis & Pakistanis, who are hell bent to create chaos & wreak havoc all over India. Talking about the PoK, it is also not stable, there is more upheaval and unrest in PoK & Pakistan than in India. Our protest is not against any particular religion but against the gross injustice happening in the valley. Valley people are at the militant’s mercy.



Few questions which arise in our minds are:
 Should we let Kashmir “The Paradise on earth” to go??
 A terror threat by the Kashmiri muslims-should we sit numb and bow down before their unjust demand??
 Should we repeat history and donate Kashmir??
 Is Punjab-Assam-Hyderabad-Delhi on the list of separation from India??
 Aren’t the Jihadi maniacs creating havoc on communal lines??
 What’s the correct way out of the mesh of jagged wires??
 India should take a stern stand against the terrorists & Pakistanis??
 Should division of land happen on communal lines??
 Have Kashmiri’s seen the condition of PoK??
 What about the 5 Lakh Kashmiri Hindus who were thrown out of their own land??

The protestors suggested a 4 point formula to improve the state of affairs in the nation & to counteract terrorism:
1. All Terrorists outfits like SIMI should be banned & busted.
2. POTA & TADA should be reintroduced & strict actions should be taken against those found guilty.
3. Plug the loop holes in the intelligence, & bust all terror plots before they succeed in killing the people.
4. Instill a sense of security amongst the people.

Adopting the 4 point formula will ensure that the citizens can have a sense of security, & not the one of getting targeted every now & then. The protesters comprised of women & children, holding the placards & the posters against the terror attacks in Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi & elsewhere in India. These radicals are attacking us at will, without any respect for life. The protest continued for 90 minutes, & there was heavy slogans shouting to warn the hardliners & wake up the sleeping Government. The protest was concluded by Candle lighting in the memory of those who laid their lives for the just cause. The people demanded that India should bust terror plots. The movement was peaceful but had its own inner strength, content and continuity and within the tenants of a legal frame work.
Lets forge a solidarity that’s like the Himalayas majestic/noble/dignified and composed. We love our Motherland! Lets not divide it anymore! Lets respect our freedom fighters and martyrs who have given their live for the freedom of India and preserve our nation our freedom! Kashmir was, Kashmir is and Kashmir will be part of India, we won’t approve of any call for separation nor of national disintegration!
